Among them:
21- “The poor among you are a source of good deeds for you*.”
This wording has not been transmitted**, but its meaning is sound, for the poor are recipients of kindness**, and through them one earns good deeds.
[Note by the book’s preparer for al-Shāmila]
* In the Dār al-Āthār edition, hasanātukum (“your good deeds”) has a prefixed lām.
** The Dār al-Āthār edition adds: “from the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace.”
*** In the Dār al-Āthār edition: mawdiʿ al-ihsān (“recipients of kindness”).
