This [hadith] * is weak—indeed, fabricated according to hadith experts. Although al-Tirmidhī and others have narrated it, it is nonetheless false.

ومنها: ١٥- «أَنَا مَدِينَةُ الْعِلْمِ وَعَلِيٌّ بَابُهَا» .
هذا [الحديث] * ضعيف، بل موضوع عند أَهل المعرفة بالحديث لكن قد رواه الترمذيُّ وغيره، ومع هذا فهو كذب.
