In another narration: “Indeed, He will roll it up just as children roll a ball.” And in the ḥadīth reported from Ibn ʿAbbās: “The seven heavens, the seven earths, and all they contain are, in the Hand of the Most Merciful, no more than a mustard seed in the hand of any one of you.”

If, however, a person intends by that term that He is set apart from the created realm—meaning that He is distinct from it, separate from it, not residing within it—then the truth is, as the leading scholars of the Sunnah have affirmed: He, exalted is He, is above His heavens, established upon His Throne, and separate from His creation.
