are the ones who will prosper. Thus the Exalted has informed us that these are the guided and the successful—unlike those who have incurred wrath and those who are astray.

We therefore ask Allah the Magnificent to guide us and all our brethren to His straight path: the path of those upon whom He has bestowed favor—the prophets, the steadfast affirmers of truth, the martyrs, and the righteous. How excellent a company they are! There is no power and no might except with Allah, the Most High, the Almighty. All praise belongs to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may Allah’s blessings and copious peace be upon the best of His creation, His servant and Messenger Muhammad, and upon his family and Companions, again and again until the Day of Judgment.
