and their emigration, their support, their beneficial knowledge, and their righteous deeds.

Whoever studies the lives of those people with true knowledge and insight, and considers the favors with which Allah endowed them, will know with absolute certainty that they are the best of creation after the Prophets.

There never has been—and there never will be—anyone like them.
-
They are the very elite of the elite among the generations of this community, the community that itself is the best and most honored of all nations before Allah.
فِي سَبِيلِهِ، وَالْهِجْرَةِ، وَالنُّصْرَةِ، وَالْعِلْمِ النَّافِعِ، وَالْعَمَلِ الصَّالِحِ.
٢٨٤- وَمَنْ نَظَرَ فِي سِيرَةِ الْقَوْمِ بِعِلْمٍ وَبَصِيرَةٍ، وَمَا مَنَّ اللَّهُ بِهِ عَلَيْهِمْ مِنَ الْفَضَائِلِ؛ عَلِمَ يَقِينًا أَنَّهُمْ خَيْرُ الْخَلْقِ بَعْدَ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ.
٢٨٥- لَا كَانَ وَلَا يَكُونُ مِثْلُهُمْ.
٢٨٦- وَأَنَّهُمْ هُمْ صَفْوَةُ الصَّفْوَةِ مِنْ قُرُونِ هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةِ، الَّتِي هِيَ خَيْرُ الْأُمَمِ وَأَكْرَمُهَا عَلَى اللَّهِ.
