58 – The compilers of the Sunan (1) likewise transmit from Asmāʾ bint Yazīd, who said: “The cuff of the Messenger of Allah’s tunic ﷺ reached to his wrist.” Al-Tirmidhī remarked: “A ḥasan ḥadith.”
The Qabāʾ (Coat)
59 – Al-Bukhārī and Muslim (2), as well as others, relate from al-Miswar ibn Makhrama (may Allah be pleased with him):
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ distributed some coats (aqbiya) but gave none to Makhrama. Makhrama said, “My son, take me to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ,” so I went with him. He said, “Go inside and call him out to me.” I did so, and the Prophet came out wearing one of those coats. He said, “I have kept this for you.” Makhrama looked at it and was satisfied.

Concerning the phrase “radi Makhrema”: al-Hafiz Ibn Hajar notes, “Ibn al-Tin suggested it may be Makhrema’s own statement. I (Ibn Hajar) consider this the most likely meaning.” (Fath al-Bari, 5/223).
٥٨- وروى أهل السنن (١) أيضا عن أسماء بنت يزيد قالت: كان يَدُ كُمِّ قَمِيص رسول الله ﷺ إلى الرسغ.
قال الترمذي: "حديث حسن".

٥٩- وفي "الصحيحين" (٢) وغيرهما عن المسور بن مخرمة ﵁ أنه قال:
قَسَمَ رسول الله ﷺ "أَقْبِيَةً"، ولم يعط مخرمة شيئًا.
قال مخرمة: يا بني انطلق بنا إلى رسول الله ﷺ فانطلقت معه.
قال: ادخل فادعه لي.
قال: فدعوته، فخرج إليه وعليه "قَبَاءٌ" منها.
فقال: خَبَأْت هذا لك.
قال: فنظر إليه.
قال: رضي مخرمة.

قوله: "رضي مخرمة": قال الحافظ ابن حجر ﵀: "قال ابن التين: يحتمل أن يكون من قول مخرمة. قلت (أي ابن حجر) : وهو المتبادر للذهن" "فتح الباري " (٥/٢٢٣) .
