Refutation of Professor Tantawi concerning the hadith of “the cloud’s shade” = “The hadith of ‘the cloud’s shade’ has a firmly established origin.”
(12) Refutation of the booklet “al-Taʿqīb al-Ḥathīth,” by ʿAbd Allah al-Habashi al-Harari, [authored] — (printed).
This work first appeared in the journal al-Tamaddun al-Islami as a series of consecutive installments in the years 1376–1377 AH (1). It was later issued as an independent publication under the same title; I therefore listed it in the Thabat, p. 56, entry (96).
(13) Refutation of Shaykh al-Ḥāmid regarding “The Hadiths of the Turban in Islam,” [authored].
It was published in the journal al-Muslimun, volume 6, pp. 906–913. The piece belongs to the series “Return to the Sunnah,” which will be treated below. Shaybani reproduced the article in Ḥayat al-Albani, 1/373–385 (2).
(14) Refutation of ʿIzz al-Din Biliq in his “Minhaj,” [authored] — namely, “Minhaj al-Salihin min Ahadith wa-Sunnah Khatam al-Anbiyaʾ wa-l-Mursalin.”
(15) Refutation of ʿIzz al-Din Biliq in “Mawazin al-Qurʾan wa-l-Sunnah li-l-Ahadith al-Sahihah wa-l-Daʿifah wa-l-Maḍuʿah” with regard to the hadith of “al-Turba,” [authored] — (printed).
Shaybani reproduced the entire reply, 1/228–244, and parts of it were published in four installments in the newspaper al-Raʾy al-Dini (Jordan), the last on 29/4/1983 CE. The Shaykh referred to it in Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah, 4/664–665. I have catalogued this refutation in its proper place in the Thabat under “Mawazin al-Qurʾan wa-l-Sunnah li-l-Ahadith al-Sahihah wa-l-Daʿifah wa-l-Maḍuʿah.” See also the note there, pp. 58–59, entries (100) and (101).
… “Replies to the Readers of the journals al-Tamaddun al-Islami and al-Muslimun.” These are the Shaykh’s answers—may Allah have mercy on him—to the readers’ questions, each given in its proper context.
(16) “The Umayyad transmission of hadith and the Orientalists’ attacks on it,” [authored] — (printed).
