“A Scholarly Exchange between the Two Eminent Imams, al-ʿIzz ibn ʿAbd al-Salām and Ibn al-Ṣalāḥ, on the Innovated Salat al-Raghāʾib” (by Ibn ʿAbd al-Salām and Ibn al-Ṣalāḥ), critically edited with the cooperation of Shaykh Zuhayr al-Shāwīsh — printed.
“The Questions of Ghulām al-Khallāl in Which He Disagreed with al-Kharrāqī,” with commentary — printed.
Masāwiʾ al-Akhlāq (The Vices of Character) by al-Kharāʾiṭī, critical edition.
The shaykh did not complete this work; he merely referred to it in Silsilat al-Aḥādīth al-Ṣaḥīḥah 4/646, ḥadīth no. 1992.
( … ) al-Mustadrak ʿalā al-Ṣaḥīḥayn = Bughyat al-Ḥāzim.
“Additions and Corrections to the Concordance of Ḥadīth Words” (al-Mustadrak ʿalā al-Muʿjam al-Mufahras li-Alfāẓ al-Ḥadīth), authored.
“Wiping over the Two Socks” by al-Qāsimī, with commentary and ḥadīth documentation — printed.
( … ) Musnad al-Khulafāʾ al-Rāshidīn from al-Mukhtārah (by al-Ḍiyāʾ), critical edition.
This is the first instalment of his edition of the previously cited al-Aḥādīth al-Mukhtārah. It appears that the shaykh’s work stopped at the close of Musnad al-Khulafāʾ al-Rāshidīn (1); Allah knows best.
( … ) “The Antichrist and the Descent of Jesus, peace be upon him” = “The Story of the Antichrist.”
Mishkāt al-Maṣābīḥ by al-Khaṭīb al-Tabrīzī, critical edition — printed.
The shaykh finished editing the first portion, but—owing to circumstances—could not continue. Shaykhs Dr. Muḥammad ibn Luṭfī al-Ṣabbāgh and ʿAbd al-Qādir al-Arnaʾūt, may Allah preserve them, completed the remaining sections. Thereafter Shaykh Nāṣir—may Allah have mercy on him—restricted himself to the ḥadīth documentation alone.
Shaykh al-Albānī, may Allah have mercy on him, holds many additions to the printed text. He flagged them in his writings as “the new documentation”; they have not yet been published, and Allah knows best.
( … ) Mushkil al-Āthār = Waḍʿ al-Āṣār.
“The Four Terminologies in the Quran” by al-Mawdūdī, with ḥadīth documentation — printed.
He placed his documentation in an appendix at the end of the book; it contains eight ḥadīths.
By these four terms al-Mawdūdī—may Allah have mercy on him—meant: “ilāh” (deity), “rabb” (Lord), “dīn” (religion), and “ʿibādah” (worship).
