This edition carries an introduction, annotations, and marginal notes by the compiler himself. A formal ruling was issued by the Permanent Committee for Scholarly Research and Ifta in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, no. 21517, dated 14/6/1421 AH, warning against this “printing” for reasons detailed in the ruling (1). Allah alone is the One from Whom help is sought.
If only the compiler—may Allah forgive us and him—had limited himself to the very text of al-Albānī’s fatwa, together with the endorsement of Shaykh al-Islām ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz ibn Bāz and the notes of the eminent scholar Muḥammad ibn ʿUthaymīn—may Allah have mercy on them all.
