“Tārīkh Dimashq,” by Abū Zurʿa, transmitted by Abū al-Maimūn ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn ʿAbd Allāh ibn ʿUmar ibn Rāshid al-Bajali — [critical edition]. The work is complete, and the Shaykh believes that no part of it is missing.

( … ) “Al-Tārīkh al-Kabīr” = “A Hadith Index to the Book ‘Al-Tārīkh al-Kabīr’.”

“Taʾsīs al-Aḥkām ʿalā Mā Ṣaḥḥa ʿan Khayr al-Anām, with an Explanation of the Hadiths of ‘ʿUmdat al-Aḥkām’,” by Aḥmad ibn Yaḥyā al-Najmī — [annotations on its hadiths] (printed); only the first volume has appeared.

“Taḥdhīr al-Sājid min Ittikhādh al-Qubūr Masājid” (Warning the Worshipper against Turning Graves into Mosques) — [authored] (printed). It is most likely the first study the Shaykh wrote. See ʿUlamāʾ wa-Mufakkirūn by al-Majdhūb (1/289–290). The treatise forms part of “Tasdīd al-Iṣāba” (see below) and was later entitled “Al-Ṣalāh fī al-Masājid al-Mabniyya ʿalā al-Qubūr.” Consult the first note at the end of “Tasdīd al-Iṣāba.”

( … ) “Taḥrīr al-Marʾa fī ʿAṣr al-Risāla” = “A Refutation of the Book ‘Taḥrīr al-Marʾa fī ʿAṣr al-Risāla’.”

“Taḥrīm Ālāt al-Ṭarab” (The Prohibition of Musical Instruments) — [authored] (printed). It will later be issued under the title “Al-Radd bi-l-Waḥyayn wa Aqwāl Aʾimmatina” (A Rebuttal Grounded in the Two Revelations and the Statements of Our Imams).

“Taḥqīq Maʿnā al-Sunnah,” by Sulaymān al-Nadwī — [hadith verification] (printed).

“Takhrīj Aḥādīth al-Buyūʿ wa Āthārihā” (Hadith Verification of the Traditions on Commercial Transactions and Their Legal Implications) — [authored]. The Shaykh prepared it for the “Encyclopedia of Islamic Jurisprudence” at the Faculty of Sharīʿa, University of Damascus, but discontinued the project when the faculty suspended publication of the encyclopedia.

( … ) “Takhrīj Aḥādīth ‘Sunan Abī Dāwūd’” = the forthcoming “Ṣaḥīḥ” and “Ḍaʿīf Abī Dāwūd.” It is one of his finest works and, as will be mentioned, remains unpublished.
