Section One: A Catalogue (Thabat) of the Shaykh’s Works
( … ) “Ahadith al-Israʾ wa-l-Miʿraj” (The Narrations of the Night Journey and Ascension) = “Al-Israʾ wa-l-Miʿraj”.
( … ) “Ahadith al-Buyuʿ wa Āthāruha” (The Narrations on Sales and Their Implications) = “Takhrij Ahadith al-Buyuʿ” (Tracing the Hadiths on Sales).

“The Weak and Fabricated Hadiths Found in the Major Fiqh Compendia” [authored].
He composed a lengthy introduction to this work but did not finish it.
By “the major fiqh compendia” he means:
1 – Al-Hidāyah by al-Marghinānī (Hanafi fiqh);
2 – Al-Mudawwanah by Ibn al-Qāsim (Maliki fiqh);
3 – Sharḥ al-Wajīz by al-Rāfiʿī (Shafiʿi fiqh);
4 – Al-Mughnī by Ibn Qudāmah (Hanbali fiqh);
5 – Bidāyat al-Mujtahid by Ibn Rushd (comparative fiqh).
You will notice that these encompass the four schools—and more; the Shaykh had already reached six thousand hadiths in this project.
“Al-Ahadith al-Mukhtārah” by al-Ḍiyāʾ al-Maqdisī [critical edition].
He did not complete it.
“Al-Iḥtijāj bil-Qadar” by Shaykh al-Islām [hadith verification] (published).
( … ) “Al-Iḥsān fī Taqrīb Ṣaḥīḥ Ibn Ḥibbān” = “Al-Taʿlīqāt al-ḥasān”.

“Ahkām al-Rikāz” (Legal Rulings on Buried Treasure) [authored] – the manuscript is lost.
“Al-Ahkām al-Ṣughrā” by al-Ishbīlī [critical edition].
“Al-Ahkām al-Wusṭā” by al-Ishbīlī [critical edition].

“Ādāb al-Zifāf fī al-Sunnah al-Muṭahharah” (Marriage Etiquette in the Purified Sunnah) [authored] (published).

“Irshād al-Nuqqād fī Taysīr al-Ijtihād” by al-Ṣanʿānī [hadith verification and commentary].
“Irwāʾ al-Ghalīl fī Takhrīj Aḥādīth Manār al-Sabīl” [authored] (published). This is among the Shaykh’s most precious works; he investigates in it the hadiths cited in Ibn Duwayyān al-Hanbalī’s Manār al-Sabīl. Whoever knows the esteem in which Manār is held by Hanbali scholars will appreciate the significance of Irwāʾ.
