Those who disallow a partnership in which one partner contributes dinars and the other dirhams differ concerning the case where such a partnership is formed but is not discovered until it has already been put into operation. One view is that the partners divide whatever they hold, including any profit or loss, in proportion to the value of their respective dinars and dirhams on the day they entered into partnership.
