—such as Mālik—held that one should continue reciting the talbiyah until reaching the Sacred Precinct. For even after reaching it, one is still being summoned to the House.
It may indeed be inferred from this rationale that the talbiyah is recited only while travelling, not while standing at Arafat and Muzdalifah or spending the night there. This is a matter concerning which the hadith scholars differed.

[A PERSON IN IHRAM EATING GAME HUNTED AND SLAUGHTERED BY SOMEONE NOT IN IHRAM]
Scholars differed concerning whether a person in ihram may eat game hunted and slaughtered by someone not in ihram, holding three views:
One group among the early generations held that it is prohibited, based on their understanding of the words of Allah Most High: “Land game is forbidden to you while you are in ihram” [al-Mā’idah: 96] [al-Mā’idah: 96], and on the established report “that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) declined the game meat when it was offered to him.”
Others, including Abū Hanīfah, held that it is unconditionally permissible. They based this on the hadith of Abū Qatādah, when he hunted a wild donkey, presented its meat to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and informed him that he had not hunted it for him, as related in the authentic hadiths.
The third group, which included the hadith jurists, held that it is permissible for a person in ihram provided that the game was neither hunted nor slaughtered specifically for him. This reconciles the hadiths, as Jābir narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “The meat of land game is lawful for you while you are in ihram,
