Al-Qawa'id al-NuraniyyaIbn Taimiya

Muzdalifa before dawn, and they stoned the Jamra during the night. He then remained with the Muslims throughout the three days at Minā, leading them in the five daily prayers, shortened but not combined. Each day after the sun had passed its zenith, he stoned the three Jamarāt, beginning with the first Jamra—the smaller one, which is nearest to Minā and farthest from Mecca—and ending with the Jamra of al-Aqaba. He stood for a long time between the first and second Jamarāt, and between the second and third—approximately the length of reciting Surah al-Baqara—remembering Allah and supplicating to Him. Indeed, the places of standing are three: Arafat, Muzdalifa, and Minā.

Then, on the last of the days of Tashrīq, after stoning the Jamarāt, he and the Muslims departed and encamped at al-Muhassab, near Khayf Banī Kināna. He and the Muslims spent Wednesday night there. That night, he sent Aisha with her brother Abd al-Rahmān to perform Umra from al-Tanīm, the nearest boundary of the Sanctuary to Mecca along the route taken by the people of Medina. A mosque was later built there which people called the Aisha Mosque, because none of his Companions ever performed Umra after Hajj with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) except Aisha. This was because she had begun menstruating when she arrived. She had entered ihram for Umra and was therefore unable, before the standing, to circumambulate the House or go between al-Safā and al-Marwa.

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to her, ‘Do everything that a pilgrim does, except that you must not circumambulate the House or go between al-Safā and al-Marwa.’ He and the Muslims then bade farewell to the House and returned to Medina. He did not remain after the days of Tashrīq, and during his lifetime no one ever performed an Umra for which they left the Sanctuary and entered the non-sacred territory, except Aisha alone.”
