The emergence of the Beast of the Earth from its appointed place:
Allah the Exalted says, “When the sentence is passed against them, We shall bring forth for them a beast from the earth that will speak to them, for people were not convinced by Our signs” (Q 27:82). This beast will appear and brand both the believer and the unbeliever, placing on each a mark by which people will recognize one another, so that they address each other, one saying, “O Muslim!” and another saying, “O unbeliever!” The words “will speak to them” mean that it will address them with speech that breaks the normal order of creation. No sound report pinpoints the exact spot from which it will emerge; nevertheless, we believe that it will come forth from the place known to the Knower of the unseen and the seen, as He said: “We shall bring forth for them a beast from the earth that will speak to them” (Q 27:82).
