Most High:

“He said, ‘No! Go, both of you, with Our signs. We are with you, listening.’”

(al-Shu‘arā’: 15).

And His words:

“‘Peace!’—a word from a Merciful Lord.”

(Yā Sīn: 58).

And Allah Most High said:

“Allah has sent down the best discourse.”

(al-Zumar: 23).

And His words:

“What discourse, then, will they believe in after Allah and His signs?”

(al-Jāthiyah: 6).

And His words:

“What discourse, then, will they believe in after it?”

(al-Mursalāt: 50).

And His words:

“Who is more truthful than Allah in speech?”

(al-Nisā’: 87).

There are many such examples in the Book of Allah Most High. Indeed, this encompasses what Allah has told us of His actions generally, especially those set out in sequence, as in His words, Most High:

“Your Lord will surely give you, and you will be satisfied.”

(al-Duhā: 5).

And His words:

“We will ease his way to ease.”

(al-Layl: 10).

And His words:

“Indeed, to Us is their return * Then it is for Us to call them to account.”

(al-Ghāshiyah: 25–26).

And His words:

“Indeed, it is for Us to gather it and recite it * So when We recite it, follow its recitation * Then it is for Us to explain it.”

(al-Qiyāmah: 17–19).

And His words:

“He will be given an easy reckoning.”

(al-Inshiqāq: 8).

And His words:

“We poured down water in abundance * Then We split the earth open.”

(‘Abasa: 25–26).

And Allah Most High said:

“He is the One who originates creation, then repeats it, and that is easier for Him.”

(al-Rūm: 27).

And His words:

“Did We not destroy the former peoples? * Then We make the later ones follow them.”

(al-Mursalāt: 16–17).
