He thus explains that the bringing forth of plants through water serves as a reminder of the bringing forth of the dead from their graves.
He, Most High, says:
“We sent down blessed water from the sky, with which We caused gardens and grain for harvest to grow, * and lofty palm trees with closely clustered fruit, * as provision for Our servants. With it We revived a lifeless land. Thus will be the emergence from the graves.”
He, Most High, says:
“It is Allah who sends the winds, which stir up clouds. Then We drive them to a lifeless land and thereby revive the earth after its death. Thus will be the Resurrection.”
He, Most High, says:
“Have you considered the semen you emit? * Is it you who create it, or are We the Creator? * We have decreed death among you, and We cannot be thwarted * from replacing you with others like you and bringing you into being in forms you do not know. * You have already known the first creation, so will you not take heed?”
He, Most High, says:
“Is He who created the heavens and the earth not able to create others like them? Yes indeed! He is the All-Knowing Creator.”
He, Most High, says:
“Have they not seen that Allah, who created the heavens and the earth and was not wearied by creating them, is able to give life to the dead? Yes indeed! He has power over all things.”
He, Most High, says:
“It is He who originates creation and then repeats it, and that is easier for Him.”
