And his words, peace and blessings be upon him:
“I seek refuge in Your pleasure from Your wrath, in Your protection from Your punishment, and in You from You. I cannot praise You fully; You are as You have praised Yourself.”
And his words:
“Allah’s right hand is full; spending does not diminish it. It pours forth bounty night and day. Have you considered what He has spent since He created the heavens and the earth? It has not diminished what is in His right hand. In His other hand is the balance of justice; He lowers and raises it.”
He thus stated that bounty is in His right hand and the balance of justice in His other hand, although both His hands are right hands.
As reported in an authentic hadith from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him:
“Those who act justly will be on pulpits of light at the right hand of the Most Merciful—and both His hands are right hands—those who are just in their judgments, towards their families, and in whatever is entrusted to them.”
Thus, if all His attributes are perfect and without deficiency, yet some are superior to others, it is not impossible for Him to be exalted in an absolute sense, even if some of Him is higher than the rest.
