by people of faith and aspiration. Indeed, it is one of their hallmarks and among the matters best known to them.

Allah, Most High, says:

“Do not turn away those who call upon their Lord morning and evening, seeking His Face.”
[al-An'ām: 52]

He, Most High, says:

“He owes no one a favor to be repaid; he gives only to seek the Face of his Lord, the Most High. And he will surely be pleased.”
[al-Layl: 19-21]

He, Most High, says:

“But if you desire Allah and His Messenger and the Home of the Hereafter, then Allah has prepared a great reward for those of you who do good.”
[al-Ahzāb: 29]

He, Most High, says:

“Then Allah will bring forth a people whom He loves and who love Him.”
[al-Mā'idah: 54]

He says:

“But those who believe are stronger in their love for Allah.”
[al-Baqarah: 165]

He, Most High, says:

“Say, ‘If your fathers, your sons, your brothers, your wives, your kinsfolk, the wealth you have acquired, the commerce whose decline you fear, and the dwellings with which you are pleased are dearer to you than Allah and His Messenger and striving in His cause, then wait.’”
[al-Tawbah: 24]

Allah, Most High, says:

“And who is better in religion than one who submits himself to Allah while doing good and follows the faith of Abraham, inclining to truth? And Allah took Abraham as an intimate friend.”
[al-Nisā': 125]
