because He does not will it. Thus He necessitates it through His will and power, not through an essence devoid of attributes. He necessitates it when He wills it, not from eternity, as He said:
“His command, when He intends a thing, is only to say to it, ‘Be,’ and it is.” Yā Sīn 82.
This necessitation entails His will and power; it is not incompatible with them. Rather, He—glory be to Him—creates whatever He wills and chooses. He does whatever He wills, when He wills it, and necessitates it through His will and power.
Allah Most High knows best. May Allah send blessings and peace upon our master Muhammad and upon his family and Companions.
لعدم مشيئته له، فهو موجب بمشيئته وقدرته، لا بذات خالية عن الصفات، وهو موجب له إذا شاءه، لا موجب له في الأزل، كما قال
{إنما أمره إذا أراد شيئا أن يقول له كن فيكون}
يس ٨٢: وهذا الإيجاب مستلزم لمشيئته وقدرته، لا مناف لذلك، بل هو سبحانه يخلق ما يشاء ويختار، فهو فاعل لما يشاؤه إذا شاء، وهو موجب له بمشيئته وقدرته.
