[The fourth argument]
He said: His essence either admits of being pointed to as being here or there, or it does not. In the former case, He occupies space, for spatial occupancy means nothing other than this. Yet spatial occupancy is impossible for Allah for two reasons.
[Spatial occupancy is impossible for Allah for two reasons]
The first is that He either moves away from His space or does not. In the former case, He is in motion; if He does not move away from it, He is at rest. Motion and rest are temporally originated, as will be explained, and whatever cannot be free of temporal occurrences is itself temporally originated.
[The second]
His occupying one particular space is either due to His essence or to an external determining agent. If the former, there is no more reason to assign Him to that space than to assign other substances to it, since they necessarily share the same nature. If it is due to something else, the Lord would necessarily depend on something other than Himself for His existence, and would therefore not be necessary
