with the righteous.”
Bilqis likewise declared:
“I have submitted, together with Solomon, to Allah, Lord of all worlds.”
The Exalted also says:
“The prophets who had submitted judged by it for the Jews, as did the godly men and the scholars.”
And the Disciples said:
“We believe in Allah; bear witness that we are Muslims.”
One Religion, Varied Laws
Thus the prophets share a single religion, even though their individual dispensations differ. In the two Ṣaḥīḥ collections the Prophet ﷺ said:
“We, the company of prophets, our religion is one.”
The Almighty states:
“He has ordained for you in religion what He enjoined upon Noah, that which We have revealed to you, and what We enjoined upon Abraham, Moses, and Jesus: ‘Establish the religion and do not split into factions concerning it.’ What you call the polytheists to weighs heavily upon them.”
And He says:
“O messengers, eat of the wholesome things and act righteously…”
