your Lord revealed to the angels, “I am with you, so steady those who believe. I shall cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve—strike them above the necks and strike every fingertip of them.” (8:12)

Concerning His enemies He said:
“Indeed, the devils inspire their allies so that they may dispute with you.” (6:121)

And He said:
“Thus have We appointed for every prophet enemies—devils from humankind and jinn—who whisper to one another ornate words in delusion.” (6:112)

And He said:
“Shall I inform you upon whom the devils descend? They descend upon every inveterate liar and sinner; they lend an ear, but most of them are liars. As for the poets, those who stray follow them. Do you not see that they wander aimlessly in every valley and say what they do not do?—except those who believe, perform righteous deeds, remember Allah often, and defend themselves after they have been wronged. The wrongdoers will soon know to what place they will return.” (26:221-227)

The Exalted also said:
“So no! I swear by what you see and by what you do not see: this is indeed the speech of a noble messenger. It is not the word of a poet—how little you believe! Nor the word of a soothsayer—how little you reflect! It is a revelation from the Lord of all worlds. Had he fabricated any sayings against Us, We would surely have seized him by the right hand, then severed his aorta, and none of you could have shielded him. Truly it is a reminder for the God-fearing. We certainly know that some of you will deny it, and it will be a source of grief for the disbelievers. And it is absolute certainty in truth. So glorify…"
