Chapter
The guidance of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, in trimming the moustache (1)
Abū ‘Umar ibn ‘Abd al-Barr (2) said: Al-Hasan ibn Sālih narrated from Simāk, from ‘Ikrimah, from Ibn ‘Abbās that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him,
(1) This chapter is absent from manuscript j and was added in the margins of manuscript s. It is therefore one of the author’s additions found in some copies of the book.
(2) In al-Tamhīd (21:63). The author draws on this source, abridging and refining its text and making additions.
فصل
في هديه ﷺ في قصِّ الشارب (١)
قال أبو عمر بن عبد البر (٢): روى الحسن بن صالح، عن سماك، عن عكرمة، عن ابن عباس: أن رسول الله ﷺ
