Al-Bayhaqī (1) also reported through Mūsā ibn ʿUbaydah al-Rabadhī, from Sadaqah ibn Yasār, from Ibn ʿUmar, who said: This surah, “When the help of Allah comes and the victory,” was revealed to the Messenger of Allah—may Allah bless him and grant him peace—in the middle of the days of Tashrīq. He understood that this was his farewell, so he ordered that his riding camel, al-Qaswā’ (2), be saddled. The people gathered, and he said, “O (3) people!” The report then recounts his sermon.
