It is fitting at this point to mention a few of the sound hadiths on the subject. Among them is the report that when the Prophet ﷺ spoke of the strangers in one such narration he said, “Each one of them will receive the reward of fifty.” They asked, “Of us, O Messenger of Allah, or of them?” He replied, “Of you.” ⦗1⦘

It is corroborated by a report from the Companion ʿUqbah ibn Ghazwan, recorded by al-Bazzar (al-Zawaʾid 7/282), and another from Abu Thalabah al-Khushani, recorded by Abu Dawud, no. 4341. Al-Albani declared it authentic in al-Silsilah al-Sahihah, no. 494.

ويحسن بنا هنا أن نذكر بعض ما جاء في الأحاديث الصحيحة في ذلك ومنها: أن النبي ﷺ لما ذكر الغرباء في بعض تلك الأحاديث، قال: «للواحد منهم خمسون من الأجر "، قالوا: منا يا رسول الله أو منهم؟ قال: " منكم» (١) .
