Monotheism First, O Callers to Islam
by the eminent scholar

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Introduction
All praise is due to Allah. We praise Him, seek His help, and ask His forgiveness. We seek refuge in Allah from the evils within ourselves and from the consequences of our misdeeds. Whomever Allah guides, none can mislead; and whomever He allows to stray, none can guide. I testify that there is no god worthy of worship but Allah alone without partner, and I testify that Muhammad is His servant and messenger.
“O you who believe, fear Allah as He should be feared, and do not die except in a state of Islam.” (Aal ʿImran 3:102)
“O mankind, fear your Lord who created you from a single soul, then created from it its mate, and from the two spread many men and women. Fear Allah, in whose name you ask one another, and honor family ties. Surely Allah is ever Watchful over you.” (Al-Nisaʾ 4:1)
“O you who believe, fear Allah and speak words that are straight; He will amend your deeds for you and forgive you your sins. Whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger has indeed achieved a mighty success.” (Al-Ahzab 33:70–71)
