if it has a counterpart in the observable realm, anthropomorphism necessarily follows; and if it has no counterpart, you can have no conception of it whatsoever. Should you construe the text as sheer non-existence, you have rendered it null and void. Thus, in your interpretation you shuttle between nullification and anthropomorphism, all the while wronging the text and violating its sanctity. Why not instead exalt its station, guard its inviolability, acknowledge it and let it stand as it is—while denying any anthropomorphic likeness and steering clear of nullification?
