and he added, “His poetry has believed while his heart has disbelieved”:

“Extol Allah, for He alone merits all glory;
our Lord in the highest heaven is supremely great.

He erected the loftiest edifice, outstripping all creation,
and arranged a throne above the heavens.

Soaring high—beyond the reach of human sight—
beneath it the angels are beheld in their diverse forms.”
