“al-Tabṣīr.” He composed the treatise for the people of Tabaristan, where a disagreement had arisen, and they had requested that he set forth what he personally believed and held. In the book he outlined the divergent views on the Vision of Allah, mentioning that one faction affirms the possibility of beholding Him both in this world and in the Hereafter.
