and pronouncing, for particular persons, either a testimony of salvation or a declaration of repudiation is an innovation; performing the funeral prayer over anyone who dies among the ahl al-qiblah (those who face the same direction of prayer) is a sunnah; and we do not consign anyone to Paradise or to Hell until Allah Himself consigns them,
