from Zirr, from Abū Masʿūd—may Allah be pleased with him—who said: “The distance between the lowest heaven and the one above it is a journey of 500 years; between each successive heaven is a journey of 500 years; between the seventh heaven and the kursī (footstool) is a journey of 500 years; and between the kursī and the water is a journey of 500 years. The Throne is above the water, and Allah is above the Throne, and He knows full well the state you are in.”
