He also cited other narrations and then said, “Chapter: Belief in the Kursī.”

[On the Kursī]

Muhammad ibn ʿAbd Allāh said, “Among the tenets of Ahl al-Sunnah is that the Kursī is before the Throne and that it is the place for His feet.”

He then quoted the hadith of Anas that speaks of the divine manifestation on the Friday of the Hereafter: “When Friday arrives, He descends from ʿIlliyyīn to His Kursī; the Kursī is then surrounded by pulpits of gold adorned with jewels, and the prophets come and sit upon them.”
