ʿAbbās, who said: “The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) stood among us and said, ‘You will be gathered barefoot, naked, and uncircumcised: “As We began the first creation, We shall repeat it” [The Prophets: 104]. The first of creation to be clothed on the Day of Resurrection will be Abraham, the intimate friend of Allah.’” (1).
Ibn Hajar said: “How could those raised after death, naked and barefoot, possess gardens to exchange for aged she-camels?” (2).
This demonstrates that this gathering will take place in this world, before the Day of Resurrection. Whoever maintains otherwise has departed from the truth. Allah Most High knows best.

عبّاس؛ قال: قام فينا النّبيّ ﷺ، فقال: "إنكم محشورون حفاة عراة غُرلًا؛ ﴿كَمَا بَدَأْنَا أَوَّلَ خَلْقٍ نُعِيدُهُ﴾ [الأنبياء: ١٠٤]، وإن أول الخلق يُكْسى يوم القيامة إبراهيم الخليل" (١).
قال ابن حجر: "ومن أين للذين يُبْعَثون بعد الموت عراة حفاة حدائق حتّى يدفعوها في الشوارف" (٢).
فدل هذا على أن هذا الحشر يكون في الدُّنيا قبل يوم القيامة، ومَن ذهب إلى خلاف ذلك فقد جانب الحق، والله تعالى أعلم.
