Ashrat al-Saah - al-WabilYusuf al-Wabil
  1. Muslim narrated from Abū Hurayra—may Allah be pleased with him—that the Messenger of Allah—may Allah bless him and grant him peace—said: “Hasten to perform good deeds before six things: the sun’s rising from the west” (1).

  2. The hadith of Hudhayfa ibn Usayd concerning the major signs of the Hour was cited earlier. Among the signs it mentioned was “the sun’s rising from the west” (2).

  3. Imam Ahmad and Muslim narrated from Abd Allah ibn Amr—may Allah be pleased with them both—who said: “I memorized a hadith from the Messenger of Allah—may Allah bless him and grant him peace—which I have never forgotten. I heard the Messenger of Allah—may Allah bless him and grant him peace—say: ‘The first of the signs to appear will be the sun’s rising from the west’” (3).

  4. Abū Dharr—may Allah be pleased with him—reported that the Prophet—may Allah bless him and grant him peace—once said: “Do you know where this sun goes?” They replied, “Allah and His Messenger know best.” He said: “It continues on until it reaches its resting place beneath the Throne, where it falls down in prostration. It remains so until it is told, ‘Rise and return whence you came.’ It then returns and rises from its place of rising. It continues on until it reaches its resting place beneath the Throne, where it falls down in prostration. It remains so until it is told, ‘Rise and return whence you came.’ It then returns and rises from its place of rising. It then continues on, and people notice nothing unusual about it, until it reaches that resting place of its beneath the Throne. It will then be told, ‘Rise in the morning
