Allah Most High says: “Until Gog and Magog are let loose and come swarming down from every height. The true promise will draw near, and suddenly the disbelievers’ eyes will stare in horror: ‘Woe to us! We were heedless of this; indeed, we were wrongdoers.’” [al-Anbiyā': 96–97].
