Ashrat al-Saah - al-WabilYusuf al-Wabil

does He leave those who devoted all their efforts and spared no endeavor in seeking their Lord’s pleasure without finding such bounty and favor from Allah in the Hereafter that they will realize that all the worldly enjoyment they sacrificed and all the hardships they endured in this worldly life were but a paltry sum beside the reward and bliss they find in a Paradise containing what no eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no human heart has ever conceived.

If people were to contemplate Allah’s universal laws, His sublime wisdom, and His immense care for and honoring of humanity, this would lead them to believe in the Hereafter. Selfishness would then no longer show its hateful face, nor would people scramble ravenously after worldly life; rather, they would cooperate in righteousness and piety.
