Ashrat al-Saah - al-WabilYusuf al-Wabil

There is no contradiction between being ruddy-complexioned and dark-complexioned, since he may have had a clear, dark complexion (1).

As for Ibn Umar’s rejection of the narration describing Jesus as ruddy-complexioned, it conflicts with what others preserved. Abu Hurayrah and Ibn Abbas, may Allah be pleased with them both, narrated that he, peace be upon him, was ruddy-complexioned.

As for one narration describing his hair as straight and another describing him as curly—curly being the opposite of straight—the two may be reconciled by understanding that his hair was straight, while the description of him as curly refers to his physique rather than his hair; that is, his body was solidly and compactly built (2).

  • The Manner of His Descent, Peace Be upon Him:

After the Dajjal emerges and spreads corruption throughout the earth, Allah will send Jesus, peace be upon him. He will descend to earth at the white minaret east of Damascus in the Levant, wearing two lightly yellow-dyed garments (3), with his palms resting upon the wings of two angels. Whenever he lowers his head, it will drip, and whenever he raises it, droplets like pearls will cascade from it. Every disbeliever who catches the scent of his breath will die, and his breath will reach as far as his gaze.

He will descend among the Victorious Group, which fights for the truth and will have assembled to fight the Dajjal. He will descend when the prayer is about to commence and will pray behind the leader of

It means that he will be wearing two *mahrūd* garments—that is, two garments dyed first with *wars* (a yellow dye) and then with saffron.
