Ashrat al-Saah - al-WabilYusuf al-Wabil

I say: The same applies to some non-Arabs, as they are described in the hadith of Abū Hurayrah: “The Hour will not come until you fight the people of Khūz and Kerman from among the non-Arabs. Their faces will be ruddy, their noses flat, and their eyes small. Their faces will resemble leather-covered shields, and their sandals will be made of hair” (1).

As for most of his followers being Bedouins, this is because ignorance is prevalent among them and because of the following statement in the lengthy hadith of Abū Umāmah. The Prophet—may Allah bless him and grant him peace—said: “Part of his trial—that is, the Dajjāl’s—is that he will say to a Bedouin, ‘If I were to bring your father and mother back to life, would you testify that I am your lord?’ He will reply, ‘Yes.’ Two devils will then appear to him in the likeness of his father and mother, saying, ‘My son, follow him, for he is your lord’” (2).

As for women, their situation will be worse than that of the Bedouins because of how quickly they are influenced and the prevalence of ignorance among them. It is narrated that Ibn Umar—may Allah be pleased with him and his father—said that the Prophet—may Allah bless him and grant him peace—said: “The Dajjāl will descend upon this salt flat at Marqanāh (3), and most of those who go out to him will be women. A man will even return to his close family—to his mother, daughter, sister, and paternal aunt—and bind them securely for fear that they might go out to him” (4).
