I then discussed the place from which the Dajjāl will emerge and explained that he will enter every land except Mecca and Medina.

I next discussed the followers of the Dajjāl and his tribulation.

I then refuted those who deny the appearance of the Dajjāl and explained that the extraordinary phenomena he will be granted are real.

I also discussed how one may protect oneself from the tribulation of the Dajjāl and what a Muslim must equip himself with in order to survive this immense tribulation.

I then discussed the wisdom behind the Dajjāl not being mentioned explicitly in the Quran.

I concluded the discussion of the Dajjāl by explaining how he will be destroyed and his tribulation brought to an end.

As for Chapter Three, it discusses the descent of Jesus—peace be upon him—at the end of time as a just leader and equitable judge.

Before discussing his descent, I described his appearance as related in the authentic reports and cited those reports.

I then discussed how Jesus—peace be upon him—will descend and where his descent will take place.

I next cited the statements of the scholars who explicitly affirmed that the hadiths concerning the descent of Jesus—peace be upon him—are mass-transmitted, and noted that a number of scholars included his descent at the end of time among the tenets of Ahl al-Sunnah wa’l-Jamāʿah.
