Ashrat al-Saah - al-WabilYusuf al-Wabil

The sixth section discusses the nearness of the Hour and explains that, compared with the lifespan of the world that has already elapsed, only a little remains.

  • As for Part One, it comprises three chapters:

The first chapter defines the meaning of “sign” in linguistic and technical usage, as well as the meaning of “the Hour” in linguistic and Islamic legal usage. I explain that “the Hour” has three meanings:

  1. The Lesser Hour.
  2. The Intermediate Hour.
  3. The Greater Hour.

The second chapter discusses the categories of the signs of the Hour, which are divided into two:

  1. Minor signs.
  2. Major signs.

I define each category and mention that some scholars have divided the signs into three categories according to whether they have appeared:

  1. Those that appeared and have ended.
  2. Those that have appeared and continue to increase and occur in succession.
  3. Those that have not yet appeared.

The third chapter discusses the minor signs of the Hour, which are:

  1. The commissioning of the Prophet—peace and blessings be upon him.
