Ashrat al-Saah - al-WabilYusuf al-Wabil

Many Turks embraced Islam, and much good came to Islam and the Muslims at their hands. They established a powerful Islamic state through which Islam was strengthened, and many great conquests took place during their rule. Among these was the conquest of Constantinople, the Byzantine capital, which paved the way for the great conquest at the end of time before the emergence of the Antichrist, as will be discussed. Islam also spread into Europe and many countries in the East and West.

This is borne out by the words of the Chosen Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), as related in the hadith of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him). After mentioning the fighting against the Turks, he said: “You will find that among the best of people are those who most strongly disliked this matter until they entered it. People are like mines: the best of them in the pre-Islamic period are the best of them in Islam.” (1)

11 – Fighting the Non-Arabs (2):

Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “The Hour will not come until you fight Khūz (3) and Kirmān (4), who are among the non-Arabs: ruddy-faced, flat-nosed, and small

Its singular is *ajamī*, just as *arabī* has the plural *arab*. See *Lisān al-Arab*, vol. 12, pp. 385–386. (3) *Khūz*: the initial *khā* takes *damma* (the u-vowel), the *wāw* is unvocalized, and the final letter is *zāy*. It refers to the region of Khūzistān, also called al-Khūz, which lies in the territory of al-Ahwāz in Persian Iraq. It is also said that al-Khūz denotes a group among the non-Arabs. See *Mu'jam al-Buldān*, vol. 2, p. 404, and *Fath al-Bārī*, vol. 6, p. 607. (4) *Karmān*: the initial *kāf* takes *fatha* (the a-vowel), the following letter is unvocalized, and the name ends in *nūn*. The *kāf* is sometimes given *kasra* (the i-vowel), yielding *Kirmān*, although *Karmān* is the better-known pronunciation. It is a renowned and extensive region containing villages and cities. It is bordered by Fars to the west, Khurāsān to the north, and the Persian Gulf to the south.
