This had already occurred during the time of the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them), when Islam and justice prevailed throughout the lands conquered by the Muslims.
This is further supported by the aforementioned hadith of Adī (may Allah be pleased with him), to whom the Prophet (may Allah’s blessings and peace be upon him) said: “O Adī, have you seen al-Hīra?” I replied, “I have not seen it, but I have been told about it.” He said: “If you live long enough, you will certainly see a woman in a camel litter travel from al-Hīra to circumambulate the Kaaba, fearing none but Allah…” (1).
This will also occur in the time of the Mahdi and Jesus (peace be upon them), when justice prevails in place of tyranny and oppression.
9 — The Emergence of the Fire of the Hejaz:
Abū Hurayra (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah’s blessings and peace be upon him) said: “The Hour will not come until a fire emerges from the land of the Hejaz and illuminates the necks of the camels in Busrā (2).” (3)
This fire appeared in the middle of the seventh century AH, in 654 AH. It was an immense fire, and the scholars who witnessed its appearance—as well as those who came after them—wrote at length in describing it.
