Muhannā said, “I asked Aḥmad about it and he replied, ‘It is not sound; the report is a woman’s narration.’ I asked, ‘From whom did the mistake originate?’ He answered, ‘From Ibn Isḥāq—he erred in it.’
Through this chain he nevertheless recorded it in his Musnad.
He likewise transmitted the hadith of ʿĀʾishah, traced back to the Prophet, on touching the penis (1); and in the version narrated by Muhannā he said, ‘It is not authentic.’

The report is transmitted by al-Tahawi, Sharh Maani al-Athar 1/74; by al-Bazzar in his Musnad as cited in Kashf al-Astar 1/148, no. 284; by al-Daraqutni, Sunan 1/147–48; and by others. It is a baseless (batil) narration.
Its chain runs: al-Muhajir ibn Ikrimah → al-Zuhri → Urwah → Aisha.
The hadith is defective; the sound version belongs to the Musnad of Busrah bint Safwan, with the isnad: al-Zuhri → Abd Allah ibn Abi Bakr → Urwah → Marwan → Busrah.
Abu Hatim said: “This hadith is weak … which shows the frailty of the report.” See Ibn Abi Hatim, al-Ilal 1/36.
A separate route records a mawquf statement from Aisha: “When a woman touches her private part, she should perform wudu.”
It is related by al-Hakim, al-Mustadrak 1/234, nos. 480–81; al-Bayhaqi, al-Sunan al-Kubra 1/133 and al-Maʿrifa 1/394. The chain is hasan; al-Hakim declared it sahih, while Ibn al-Mundhir remarked, “I do not think it is firmly established” (al-Awsat 1/209).
وقال مُهَنَّا: سألت أحمد عنه؟ فقال: "ليس بصحيح، الحديث حديث نِسْوَة"، فقلت: من قِبل مَن جاء خطؤه؟ فقال: "من قِبَل ابن إسحاق، أخطأ فيه".

وقال - في رواية مُهَنَّا -: "ليس بصحيح".

والحديث أخرجه الطحاوي في شرح المعاني (١/ ٧٤) والبزار في مسنده كما في (كشف الأستار (١/ ١٤٨) رقم (٢٨٤) والدارقطني في السنن (١/ ١٤٧ - ١٤٨) وهو باطل وغيرهم.
من طريق المهاجر بن عكرمة عن الزهري عن عروة عن عائشة.
وهو حديث معلول، صوابه أنه من مسند بسرة بنت صفوان، يرويه الزهري عن عبد الله بن أبي بكر عن عروة عن مروان عن بسرة.
قال أبو حاتم: "هذا حديث ضعيف … وهذا يدل على وهْن الحديث".

وقد جاء من طريق آخر عن عائشة موقوفًا قالت: "إذا مست المرأة فرجها توضأت).
أخرجه الحاكم في المستدرك (١/ ٢٣٤) رقم (٤٨٠ و ٤٨١) والبيهقي في الكبرى (١/ ١٣٣) وفي المعرفة (١/ ٣٩٤) وسنده حسن، والأثر صححه الحاكم، وقال ابن المنذر: "ولا أحسبه ثابتًا" الأوسط (١/ ٢٠٩).
