“Keep saying, ‘Glory be to Allah; praise belongs to Allah; there is no god but Allah; and Allah is the Greatest,’ for they—meaning these words—shed sins as a tree sheds its leaves.” (1)
In al-Tirmidhī, Ibn Masʿūd reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
“I met Abraham on the night I was taken on the Night Journey. He said, ‘O Muhammad, convey greetings of peace [from me] to your community, and tell them that Paradise has fertile soil and sweet water, that it consists of broad, level plains, and that it is planted by saying: “Glory be to Allah; praise belongs to Allah; there is no god but Allah; and Allah is the Greatest.”’” (2)
Al-Tirmidhī said: This is a good hadith.
