In the Sunan of al-Nasā’ī, ‘Abd al-Rahmān ibn Jubayr reported that he was told (1) by a man who had served the Prophet for eight years that he used to hear the Prophet, whenever food was brought to him (2), say (3): “In the name of Allah.” When he finished eating, he would say: “O Allah, You have fed us, given us drink, enriched us, granted us possessions, guided us, and chosen us (4). To You belongs all praise for what You have given.” (5) Its chain of transmission is authentic.
Abū Dāwūd reported in his Sunan, from ‘Abd Allāh ibn ‘Amr ibn al-‘Ās, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, would say upon finishing his meal: “Praise be to Allah, who has bestowed His favor upon us and guided us, satisfied our hunger and quenched our thirst, and granted us every good thing.” (6)

I did not find this hadith in Sunan Abī Dāwūd. Rather, it was reported by al-Tabarānī in al-Du‘ā’, no. 895; Ibn al-Sunnī in ‘Amal al-Yawm wa-al-Layla, no. 467; and Ibn ‘Adī in al-Kāmil, 6/2212.
The hadith has corroborating reports, including:
