Ibn al-Mubarak say:
“Whoever maintains that the words, ‘Indeed I am Allah; there is no deity but Me,’ are created is a disbeliever, and it is not (1) fitting for any creature to utter such a claim.”
He also said:
Nor (2) do I repeat the creed of Jahm—a statement that at times echoes sheer idolatry;
Nor do I allege that, abandoning His creation,

Al-Bukhārī said: Ibn al-Mubarak declared, “We do not say, as the Jahmiyyah say, that He is here on the earth; rather, He rose over the Throne.”
He was asked, “How do we recognise our Lord?” He answered, “Above His heavens, upon His Throne.” And he said to one (3) of them, “Is your own belly empty of Him (4)?”—the man was struck dumb.
He further stated, “Whoever says that the phrase ‘There is no deity but He’ is created is a disbeliever (5). We can repeat the speech of the Jews and the Christians, yet we cannot bring ourselves to quote the words of the Jahmiyyah.”
Al-Bukhārī (6) also narrated that Saʿīd ibn ʿĀmir (7) said, “The Jahmiyyah…”
