Al-TisʿīniyyaIbn Taimiya

and He says:
“Until, when they are brought there, their hearing, their sight, and their skins will bear witness against them for what they used to do” (1) up to His words, “That was the assumption you entertained about your Lord; it has ruined you, so you have become among the losers” (2);

and He says, “The Jews said, ‘Allah’s hand is fettered.’ May their own hands be fettered …” (3) to the end of the verse;

and He says, “Allah has certainly heard the statement of those who said, ‘Indeed, Allah is poor while we are rich’” (4) to the end of the verse.

So too, everything in the Quran in which He speaks of Himself—that He is All-Knowing of every thing; that not even the weight of an atom in the earth or in the heaven escapes Him; that He is Powerful over all things; that whatever Allah wills (5) comes to be and there is no power except with Allah; that His mercy encompasses all things; that He is the Most High, the Tremendous, the Exalted, the Supremely Great, the Majestic, the Immense—all of this confirms His perfection.

Likewise, the narrations from the Prophet ﷺ concur with the Book of Allah, such as his words in the authentic hadith:
“Allah does not sleep, nor is it befitting that He should sleep. He lowers the scale (6) and raises it. The deeds of the night are presented to Him before the deeds of the day (7), and the deeds of the day before the deeds of the night (8). His veil is light—or fire (9); were He (10) to lift it, the brilliance of His Face would burn (11) whatever His gaze reaches …”
