al-Tayalisi (1), the Musnad of Ibn Wahb (2), and the Musnad of Ahmad ibn

= References; the correct identification is likely the one he established. He was Abu Qurra Musa ibn Tariq al-Zubaydi, the muhaddith, Imam al-Hujjah, Qadi of Zubayd, a scholar of the Sunan and the Athar. He died in 203 AH. Ibn Hajar (may Allah have mercy on him) states that he composed Kitab al-Sunan by chapters in a single volume that I have seen, and this is probably the Musnad referred to by the Shaykh (may Allah have mercy on him). He is not mentioned in Brockelmann’s History of Arabic Literature nor in Sezgin’s Geschichte des Arabischen Schrifttums. (1) Sulaymān ibn Dāwūd ibn al-Jārūd al-Ṭayālisī—of Persian origin and one of the foremost memorizers of ḥadīth—was born in Basra in 133 AH and died there in 204 AH. He authored al-Musnad, in which he collected reports from certain Khurāsānī transmitters. This work is currently under critical editing in the Department of Sunna and Its Sciences at the College of Uṣūl al-Dīn in Riyadh for academic degrees but remains incomplete. The author (may Allah have mercy on him) included in it several ḥadīths on divine attributes. For example, see: p. 34, Ḥadīth 252; p. 63, Ḥadīth 467; p. 66, Ḥadīth 490; p. 67, Ḥadīth 491; p. 147, Ḥadīths 1092–1094; p. 295, Ḥadīth 2232.
