(1) He is Abū al-Ḥusayn Muslim ibn al-Ḥajjāj ibn Muslim al-Qushayrī al-Nīsābūrī, one of the leading imams and masters of ḥadīth who traveled widely to collect transmissions. Born 202 AH, died 261 AH. He is renowned for his work al-Jāmiʿ al-Ṣaḥīḥ, in which he included hadiths on divine attributes.
See, for example:
– Kitāb al-Īmān, Chapter “Affirming the believers’ vision of their Lord in the Hereafter,” vol. 1, p. 163, hadiths 296–298;

Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim has been commented upon by many scholars and abridged by others, such as al-Qāḍī ʿIyāḍ, al-Nawawī, al-Munḏhirī, and others. For Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim and its commentaries, see:

Among his works is al-Jāmiʿ al-Ṣaḥīḥ, in which he included—may God have mercy on him—hadiths on divine attributes that refute the Jahmiyyah and Muʿtazilah. See, for example:
